Downtown Disney

When we were at Sea World we thought we would drop by Downtown Disney for a visit. Oh and we went to the Rain Forest Cafe.. that is why you see an aquarium in the background.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends.

Sea World

So on Friday we decided to go to Sea World. Sea World is three hours away and Eric gets free tickets for once a year, so we took advantage of it and I am glad we did.

Found But Not Lost Anymore.

Yesterday I ended up going to the vet in Petsmart and found that the dog has a microchip. So through a lot of calling on the vets end, they finally called me today. We found Cocoas owner, they live in the neighborhood next to us... Now if you have ever been to our house, you know that our house is in a big neighborhood. The neighborhood right next to us is large as well. So Cocoa traveled a long way to our house. Thankfully he had gotten out that same night so he didn't have to be out in the elements for too long. What is funny is that the owner didn't even know he had a microchip. So... lesson learned... get a "home again" chip for Gromit (they are only $30) and make sure we are good and registered (they were not registered that is why it took so long to find them)... I don't know what we would do without Gromit.

Guess what found us at 2am

This morning Eric and I woke up to Gromit barking... we didn't know what it was, then we realized it was the door bell. Our neighbor had his dog outside and realized another dog was playing with her. They thought it was Gromit so they came to our door to let us know. Well it wasn't Gromit but another Schnauzer, a black one. He was so matted up and had so many sand spurs all over him. So I went and gave him a bath and had to cut some of the the sand spurs out. All in all he takes a bath a lot better than Gromit does. He has a really good temperment, and it looks like it hasn't been long since he has been groomed. After his bath we let Gromit play with him. Boy are they worn out! Especially the other dog... they have both had an eventful morning. I am up now making signs for the neighborhood. I hope his owner responds. I know I would be a wreck right now if we lost Gromit especially at Christmas time.
