So we went to the Easter Egg Dash again this year in Niceville (our second year) . We met up with my friend Dawn, from Niceville high and her two boys. Her son Joel was in Connor's age group. We had practiced picking up Easter eggs all week... but when it came down to it... he was just happy and excited running around with all the kids that he completely forgot to pick up the eggs. Who would have thought that the pinwheels on the field would have done Connor in. By the time I could catch up with him to remind him to pick up
the eggs. Almost all the eggs were gone. He
finally picked up an egg and it was a princess egg. He was so mad at himself. It was so sad... perhaps there is always next year. The Easter bunny certainly made up for it Easter morning... It was so cute... he didn't care so much for the toys in his basket.. he was just happy to get eggs... he kept on saying... "momma I have eggs now." Too cute. I hope everyone had a happy
