Why should one be saved?

"What then? are we better than they? No, in no wise: for we have before proved both Jews and Gentiles, that they are all under sin;
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"

How is one saved?

Admit that you are a sinner

"Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"
Romans 3:23-24 KJV

Believe that Jesus Christ died for your sins.

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:9 KJV

Receive Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour.

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him"
Romans 5:8-9 KJV

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:13 KJV

Salvation is a free gift to anyone who is willing to accept it, without any works on our part.... time is so short. As God's word says:

"Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh."
James 5:8 KJV

"Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not. "
Luke 12:40 KJV

"Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is."
Mark 13:31-33 KJV

"Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh."

There will come a time, where there is no time left to be saved. Anything could happen? We are not guaranteed tomorrow.. we are only guaranteed the present. I pray for ALL of my family and friends (and other's I do not know) this day, that are not saved. This has weighed heavy on my heart for some time and a grieve for those that I may not see in Heaven. If you don't believe in Jesus or Heaven have you considered the thought that you may be wrong? Are you that certain that you really want to take that chance with your life?
