Weekend

Well our weekend went well, aside from the sickness. Connor had the stomach bug and Eric had a cold or something that got worse Sunday morning. We however did make it outside early Saturday morning to the pool so that Eric could have his first time experience with Connor in the pool. They are so cute together.

Connor's Dedication

Eric and I had Connor dedicated to the Lord today. We had flowers on the altar for his special day to celebrate his life and his dedication. If you are wondering, this isn't the same as baptism. Dedicating him is to do just that dedicate him to the Lord as well as make an outward vow to Connor that we will raise him into a loving Christian home and church family. A baptism is for after Connor has received Christ. He is too little; for he doesn't understand at this point of his life. When he is old enough to understand and if he chooses to receive Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior, than to give an outward testimony of the change that has happened inside of him he can choose to be baptized. Baptism will not save Connor; it is only by confessing the Lord Jesus Christ that will save him. Please pray for him and for us as we raise this sweet little boy, Connor William Peters.

Another Pool Day

Connor and I had another pool day... Connor seems to really like the pool; he loves to look at the other babies. He is with his friends Benjamin and Sophia.

No more bad pictures

So I am so excited... Eric and I ended up getting a new camera... what is neat about it is that it has a manual mode so my photography background can kick in... I say photography background... I took one class at FSU (Go Noles!) as one of my electives (hee hee)... and I really enjoyed it; I just learned the basics.... so hopefully pretty soon we will get some good pics up... not saying that they are not already good.... just better. Oh.... thank you Grandma for Connors gift and his cute Green Bay Packers outfit.... we/he loves it. And that toy..... it is awesome... Connor seems to really like the bunny and the toy that comes with it a lot... and it says the funniest comments.... Thank you so very much! Here are some pictures of him and his toy.... enjoy!

So these pictures didn't turn out as well as I thought they would... I think we may need to get a camera that takes better pictures because these moments are precious... and the photo option on the video camera isn't cutting it. Looking on the brighter side.. they do download quickly.

Pool Time.. once again.

So Tara and I went to our pool today.. it was fun... what was great about it, is that school is back in session now and we had the pool to ourselves.. it was nice. All summer the pool typically has been packed with people. Connor seemed to really enjoy it. I had him in chest depth and he was just a moving around like he wanted to swim... I think I should seriously look into swimming classes for him... as well as bigger swimming trunks... these got pretty small pretty quickly.
